Product description: The JM-30 will convert any VOX (voice or noise activated) recorder into an automatic telephone recorder. In addition, it will translate the dialed number to voice, and will replace the traditional tones into actual spoken numbers. While playing the tape back (on any player) you will hear the dialed numbers being spoken. The JM-30 translates dialed numbers into spanish and english.

• Connect the telephone plug into any telephone extension on the desired line.
• Connect the plug labeled recorder to the microphone jack on your recorder.
• Set your recorder on voice activation
• Set mic sensitivity to high (if applicable)
• Press record on your recorder and turn on the JM-30

The unit is now set. To change from English to Spanish, remove the screw and open the casing. Set the jumper to mode B for spanish translations.
